Since its formation in 2003, Vireo Solutions has been involved in a number of business projects for one of the UK’s largest banks in London. These projects included:-

• Start-up of an insurance division

• Company Rationalisation
• Financial Management and Control
• Business process and systems development and improvement

In 2007 the company re-located to Orkney, where it will offer its unique range of services and experience to organisations and clients in Orkney and surrounding areas.

The Principal of Vireo Solutions is Barrie Hamill who has built on his 20 years of extensive practical business experience with a range of useful business qualifications.

Barrie qualified as a Chartered Accountant working for a 7 partner firm of Chartered Accountants. He obtained his MBA whilst working for EasyJet and Dial-a-Phone Ltd and obtained PRINCE2 Accreditation at Vireo Solutions.
